Step 5 - Meet with achieve Staff

Mrs. Barbara Bakar, the founder of the achieve program, screens all nominations. Finalists are chosen from those students who have met all partner school acceptance criteria and have qualified for financial aid. Students and parents are interviewed separately by Mrs. Bakar, an achieve staff member, and a representative from the partner school. Interviews generally last one hour. Only those students who are chosen as finalists will be interviewed.

Notification of achieve scholarship awards are sent with the school acceptance letter.
